In today’s world, how does anyone know if a charity is legit? Or that your charitable donations are going toward its intended cause and not to line someone’s personal pocket. The answer is you don’t unless your charity has the Give.org seal of approval.
So we partnered with artist Mark Wagner to create a unique campaign using real money depicting what happens when your donation falls into the hands of the wrong charitable organization- it is sickened. The original artwork was then auctioned off with proceeds going to the charity of the bidders choice, which of course will have the seal of approval from Give.org.
Activations around the work reinforce the campaign evolving to other ways charitable donations are treated from fooled, hijacked, hoodwinked, etc
